Be Creative with your Body Awareness Work

Picture
Myst loves her work on the balance discs so it is fun to add different combinations and build in some of the tricks she has learned such as SIT PRETTY, WAVE, and the HANDSTAND. In this picture you will see that she backed into a handstand and is standing on 2 disc pods. This type of work continues to build core strength and is fun work with your dog.

You can also think of ways to combine your discs such as you will see in "Journeying with Discs" and "Turn on the Haunches."

AND... look for equipment you have to offer other games that require your dog to think how they use their body. A fun one is with your jump bars..... Video - "STIKS"

NEW Video 5: Kaffee Meets the Paw Pods: sometimes dogs just don't want to interact with the discs. This video brought me many smiles as I have heard it has done for others.
