This page will follow Beckett's journey. His work and training are then documented according to his age.

I have learned so much since I trained my last 3 Border Collies and am very excited to start some of these fun games and socialization early. You will see our photographs and training videos for socialization, nose work, search and rescue, obedience, herding and where ever our journey takes us.

Beckett is a red tri Border Collie from Cedar Border Collies  in Dunnville, Ontario.

Beckett's New Post COVID Titles - CDX and Graduate Open (GO)

Picture
BECKETT EARNS HIS CDX AND GRAD OPEN TITLES APRIL 4, 2021 in Henderson, NV at the 3-day Vegas Valley and Silver State Kennel Club shows. Beckett earned his CDX from his entries over 4 shows in the past 2 weeks in Open B today under judge Dorian Jay Ladd (scores 193, 195, 198). He also earned his Graduate Open title with scores of 192 and 197 both days under Mr. Dorian Jay Ladd.

We stayed at a wonderful AirBnB and had a great weekend. It was very challenging at first adjusting to the very strict COVID guidelines for the show which included conformation, but by yesterday we had adjusted and ended up feeling like it was just great to be back to showing and having a weekend seeing old friends.

I have learned a lot about dog training over the years having raised 3 Border Collies. Seeing the outcomes and results of training has been invaluable. I have learned from some amazing trainers and am excited to start with this incredible new puppy - Beckett

Click on each month below to see what Beckett is learning through images and videos.

NOTE:
Please look at the video below by: Rob at Animal Rehabilitation Center,  of LAVRC's. Balance discs are  fun and challenging games that are also safe and can help puppies to grow into agile confident adult dogs. Games like in this video below called "Puppy Proprioception Class with Flash" show from
an expert what young puppies can safely do. This may help them prevent injury and be all they can be, in their sport
.
I only work with the balance discs for no more than 4 minutes 2-3 days a week.

Older sister, MYST, is being so good with her new brother. Myst needed someone who would enjoy playing and interacting with her since Kaffee is getting older. I love it when all the dogs in the family live as good friends, respect each other and get along so well.
